Journalists and photographers with cameras at a press event, the kind of coverage a PR agency in India sets up

Public relations · Media coverage · Digital PR

The PR agency in India for brands that want to be talked about.

We get your story in front of journalists, editors and the people who read them. Then we keep it working on Google and social media, long after the news cycle has moved on.

Why MP Media Promotion

Coverage is easy to buy. Credibility isn’t.

Anyone can pay for a mention on a website nobody reads. What actually moves a business is different: a feature in a publication your customers respect, a founder quote in the right story, a Google result that shows press instead of complaints. That’s the work we do as a PR agency in India.

We look for the angle in your business that a journalist would care about, pitch it to the people who cover your industry, and then make sure the coverage turns up wherever your next customer is looking. One team handles the PR, the content and the digital side, so the story doesn’t change from one channel to the next.

How we work
An Indian daily newspaper with business stories, the kind of placement our media relations team pitches for

How it works

What happens after you hire us

  1. We listen first

A long call about your business, your customers and what you would like people to say about you. Most of the good angles come out of this conversation.

  2. We find the story

A product launch is not news on its own. A founder who quit a bank job to fix a problem in Tier 2 cities might be. We look for the version a journalist can use.

  3. We build the press kit

Press release, founder bio, quotes, photos and a short fact sheet. Everything a reporter needs to write about you without chasing you for it.

  4. We pitch, one person at a time

No mass email blasts. Each pitch goes to a journalist, editor or creator who actually covers your subject, with a reason it fits their beat.

  5. We amplify and report

Every piece of coverage gets shared on your site, social channels and, if it makes sense, in ads. You get a plain report of what ran, where, and what came next.

Straight talk

We tell you what is earned and what is paid.

Indian media runs on both. Editorial coverage is decided by a journalist. Sponsored and advertorial placements are bought, and should be labelled. Both have a place, and you deserve to know which one you are paying for before you spend a rupee.

Earned media

A journalist chose to write about you

  • Carries the most trust with readers
  • Can’t be guaranteed, only earned with a good story
  • Takes longer, lasts longer
  • This is where most of our pitching effort goes

Paid media

You bought the space

  • Guaranteed placement and timing
  • Useful for launches, events and search visibility
  • Should always be marked as sponsored
  • We never pass it off as editorial coverage

Industries

PR works differently in every industry.

A hospital launch, a fashion label and a SaaS founder need different journalists, different angles and different timing. These are the sectors we plan campaigns for.

  • Startups and founders
  • D2C and e-commerce
  • Healthcare and clinics
  • Real estate
  • Education and coaching
  • Hotels, travel and hospitality
  • Fashion and lifestyle
  • B2B and manufacturing
  • Restaurants and food brands
  • Personal brands and public figures

FAQ

Questions about hiring a PR agency

Still unsure? Ask us directly. We reply to every message.

What does a PR agency in India actually do?

We get your business mentioned, quoted and featured by the media, in a way that makes people trust you more. In practice that means finding newsworthy angles, writing press releases and pitches, building relationships with journalists, handling interviews, and protecting your reputation when something goes wrong. Good PR agencies also make sure that coverage is visible on Google and social media afterwards.

How much do PR services cost in India?

It depends on how much you want done and for how long. Ongoing PR usually runs as a monthly retainer, while one-off work such as a launch or press release distribution is priced as a project. After a first call we send a written quote that lists exactly what is included, so there are no surprises.

Can you guarantee coverage in a particular newspaper?

Not for editorial coverage, and you should be wary of any agency that says it can. A journalist decides what to write. What we can guarantee is a strong story, well-targeted pitches and honest reporting. If you need a guaranteed placement, we can arrange sponsored content and we will label it as such.

How soon will we see results?

Once your press kit is approved, pitching starts straight away. When the coverage lands depends on how newsworthy the angle is and on each publication’s schedule. A breaking announcement can move in days; a feature story can take weeks. We keep you updated on every pitch, not just the wins.

Do you work with startups and small businesses?

Yes. A lot of our work is with founders and growing companies who need to be taken seriously by customers, investors or partners. We size the plan to your budget instead of selling you a corporate package.

Do you only work with clients in one city?

No. We work with brands across India. Most of the work happens over calls, email and WhatsApp, and we can be there in person for launches, press meets and events when it matters.

How will we know if the PR is working?

Every month you get a short report: what we pitched, what got published, where it ran, links to each piece, and what happened next, such as search visibility, website visits or enquiries where we can track them. No padded numbers.

Can you handle our social media and Google Ads too?

Yes. Social media, content marketing, SEO, Google Ads and website work are all handled by the same team, which keeps the message consistent between your press coverage and everything else people see.
